This work in the Resonance series exists as a platform for DHD to collaborate with musicians and sound artists who truly inspire them. In 2014, Duckworth worked in collaboration with the composer Hullick to customize the Resonance table for the Amplified Elephants – musicians with intellectual disabilities, as part of a musical performance entitled “These Compulsive Behaviours: RE:EVOLUTION”.  Their collaboration continued in the development of SELECT NATURALIS with The Amplified Elephants in 2015.

In 2016, DHD partnered with dynamic shamisen master Noriko Tadano to deliver a version of RESONANCE + n that was titled SHAMISEN RESONANCE for JOLT’s The Book of Daughters concerts. It proved to be a masterful combination – where old and new technologies enveloped audiences in radiant sound and visceral visuals.
